About IICS 3.3 Personnel Reviewing Welding Procedures & Welder Certifications in accordance to ASME Sect. IX & AWS D1.1

IICS 3.3 “Personnel Reviewing Welding Procedures & Welder Certifications” is developed to qualify and enable technical personnel to plan and supervise the welder & welding procedure certification process and/or to review welder & welding procedure certificates in construction projects where welding applies.

Eligibilitycwi

To be eligible for certification, candidates must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Welding inspection experience is an advantage but not required
  • Pass the written examination

Note: In order to get approved for the examination it will be required to attend the ASME Sect. IX & AWS D1.1 training course

Exam Information

IICS 3.3 Personnel Reviewing Welding Procedures & Welder Certifications

Pass mark is 70%. If the overall passing mark couldn’t get achieved the individual part, which has been failed shall be retaken.
